Markus Bucheli completed a business apprenticeship and subsequently trained to become a Certified Business Economist HWV. From 1997 to 2000, he completed training as a Certified Public Accountant and in 2006 he obtained the diploma as IFRS/IAS Accountant. Markus Bucheli began his career in 1997 as auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers AG in Zurich, before he joined Swisslog AG in 2001 in the position of Senior Corporate Controller and Divisions Controller. Starting in 2005, Markus Bucheli was appointed as Head of Group Finance at Swiss Caps AG. From November 2007 to June 2010, Markus Bucheli worked as CFO for Nüssli (Switzerland) Ltd and was appointed CFO of the NUSSLI Group in July 2010.
