Swiss-born Peter Dübendorfer is a qualified precision mechanic. In 1986, Peter Dübendorfer continued his studies as Electrical Engineer HTL (School of Engineering Winterthur) and graduated from the Executive MBA program of the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Dübendorfer began his career in 1986 in technical sales and customer support at Contraves AG, before he moved to ABB, where he held several positions in the area electrical engineering and project management. In 1999, he changed to SiG Pack Systems AG in Beringen in the sector packaging systems, where he worked as project manager, head of sales support, and finally as business unit manager. From 2003 to 2007, Peter Dübendorfer was CEO of the mountain railway company Diavolezza Bahn AG in Pontresina and from 2007 to 2009 Technical Manager of the St Moritz Engadine mountain railway and cable car company (BEST AG). As of December 2009, Peter Dübendorfer is a member of the Group Management Team and heads the division Exhibitions, which realizes international trade fair and pavilion construction.
