XXII Olympic Winter Games 2014, Sochi

Within the scope of the XXII Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi, NUSSLI International was awarded the concept planning contract for all "overlay infrastructures" in the finish area of the alpine competitions.
Based on the existing development concepts for the future use of the holiday resort, the contract included the planning of the necessary facilities in compliance with the requirements of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The most diverse requirements in topography, basic legislation, race track and spectator flow planning, media requirements and operational processes from event management had to be integrated in the planning of the grandstand, press center, athletes' area, broadcast compound, games family grounds and additional logistics constructions.

The client "Rosa Khutor Ski Resort Development" also received the essentials for the budgeting of all modular structures and a schedule for the concept, on to the execution and further to the repair stages following the Olympic Winter Games, in addition to the planning documentation.
NUSSLI has years of experience in overlay planning and in the realization of large-scale projects, including project management, which were available to the client for the coordination of the project.

The NUSSLI network and the partnership with the International Ski Association (FIS) already supported the client in the concept stage to efficiently manage cost transparency, schedule reliability and the high quality standards of the "overlay infrastructures" for an event of global recognition.
